Santa Rosa Fire

After seeing the fires on the news I wanted to see what they did in person. I drove up to Strawberry Park, north of Santa Rosa, to see an entire community wiped out. There were signs that said, "You loot, we shoot" and, "No disaster tourists". I felt slightly out of place with my two large format cameras. It was only after walking around for a few hours and talking to the neighbors that I felt welcomed. The community, volunteers, and police were interested in my cameras and came up to talk to me throughout the day.
